Production:

According to WHO, 30% of food produced is lost or wasted, about half of that is due to food deterioration from origin to destination.
Food (fruits, vegetables, grains and other perishable items) spend usually over a month in transport in refrigerated containers on sea, humidity and other factors allow bacteria to grow and start deteriorating food.
Nevegy technology can be installed in refrigerated containers and refrigerated storage spaces to ensure food is not deteriorated through the effect of bacteria, maintaining its freshness, extending its life and maintaining its aspect to avoid rejections at destination.

How Nevegy works inside reefers
And helps protect both reefer and food.
Nevegy Reefer Units are installed on the return vent of the reefer’s cooling unit, as air circulates inside a reefer, when it returns into the cooling unit, it is treated and loaded with hydrogen peroxide molecules, these molecules are pushed again into the reefer by the cooling unit and as they move inside the reefer, they eliminate all pathogens both in the air and in surfaces, preventing bacteria from impacting the food, the low concentration of molecules generated is enough to eliminate over 99.9% of bacteria but is 100% innocuous to food and materials, making sure all merchandise is completely safe and free of negative impact from bacteria.
Nevegy reefer units not only protect the food, the whole cooling unit of the reefer is constantly being treated against bacteria buildup, preventing both bacteria and mold formation in cooling coils and ducting which lengthens the life of the reefers and greatly reduces maintenance costs and operations.

Nevegy solutions are specifically designed for their integration in any environments and eliminate chemicals (formaldehyde, benzene, etc.) and pathogens (virus, bacteria, dust mites, mold, etc.) from air and surfaces throughout the whole vessel by deploying pathogen elimination molecules to all areas, eliminating pathogens on the spot, at the source, being the only technology that can effectively keep clean all areas inside a processing plant.

Air Flow
As air flows through a Nevegy device, which is placed at the entrance of the return duct to the reefer cooling system, water molecules pass through the device and attach momentarily to the walls of the catalyst which consists of a patented set of materials design to attract water molecules and energy from a light source.
Conversion
During that small period of time, some of those water molecules are oxidized and converted to charged hydrogen peroxide at a very small concentration, 100% safe for people, food, flowers, and materials but highly effective against chemicals and pathogens.
Attack
These molecules are pushed out of the device by the air flow, go through the cooling unit, cleaning the cooling coils and avoiding any bacteria or mold buildup in them and then pushed back inside the container, where they are magnetically attracted to chemicals, virus and bacteria and immediately start attacking those pollutants and pathogens both in air and surfaces.
Elimination
After the pathogens are eventually inactivated and chemicals are broken down in air and on surfaces, the hydrogen peroxide molecules are broken back into carbon dioxide and water molecules, ensuring all areas are treated.
